Cybiko Phase
It’s an entire phase of my life, and I don’t think I’ve ever written extensively about it. There are many lessons to be learned. I’ll create a WordPress Page about it.
Update (28 Mar 2011): Well, I don’t think I ever came back and created a WordPress Page about it. Come to think of it, a Page is probably not the best idea because Pages don’t scale (it’s pretty unreasonable to have any more than a dozen or so).
The Cybiko phase of my life lasted from about 2000 until 2003 (ages 12-15). Considering that the Cybiko was designed for “teens and tweens,” I fit the profile perfectly.
Cybiko is mentioned many times, but the mentions are scattered throughout my blog. Here are a few highlights:
- What Killed Cybiko (spending money on marketing instead of product)
- How Cybiko taught me programming (with a comparison to Mark Zuckerberg)
- Greg Smith taught me Cybiko app development
