YourLuckyList Scam
Sure, it sends out lots of ads – that’s the purpose of it – but they’re probably selling users’ emails to other parties, as well. My YLL email address has been signed up for a “Writing Zen” newsletter (something I never signed up for). Beware!
Please note: based on comments, I conclude that it’s not spam nor a scam, but it is just slightly misleading. Just keeping you informed :)
Here is another scam for you. Its called the Nouveau Tech Society. They send you a 4page letter explaining how you are about to enter phase two of your life and a group of very wealthy and famous people chose you to join ther secret clud. There Is a deadline to get this secret book for free. When the book comes it is a short story book about 6 people and how this book changed there lives. There is another deadline to get the real 1000 page book for only 139.00 But you must hurry! This 1000 page book is suposed to give you a 10 second secret.
Is “Your Luck List” the ONLY place you’ve given out your email?
It seems to me you are jumping to conclusions.
Is Your Lucky List scam?
I agree with Mr-Ress here. I think you concluded too early.
I joined YLL too, and as far as I can think of, there are another two possibilities:
1. YLL shows the email adress of your downline. It could be that one of your upline (the one who owns Writing Zen) registered your email address to his/her list.
2. People can add their list to YLL. So, there is a possibility that an owner of a website to which you registered your email address, put his/her list to YLL.
Make sense, right?
Fidens Felix
CashflowIsm.COM
FidensFelix hit the nail on the head.
Did you actually go through the terms and conditions when you joined?
As far as giving out my email ONLY to YLL, the answer is yes. I have a dedicated email address used only for YLL business.
On the other hand, I agree that the service is not a scam in the sense that people usually think of scams. It tells you what it is, and does what it says.
My wife was searching around and found this. Actually, Writing Zen is one of my businesses, and as a member of Your Lucky List, part of the terms and conditions that you signed up for was to be part of the random matrix, which means your information(email address) does go to the autoresponders of those paid members in Your Lucky List for emails outside of the normal Your Lucky List emails.
Every email sent to you by that autoresponder has an unsubscribe button, and it shows in my system that you did use that option and unsubscribed.
I totally agree with Andrew in that maybe you didn’t quite read the terms and conditions all the way through.
So in a nutshell, by signing up for Your Lucky List you did sign up to receive emails from its members, and my newsletter was one of those emails, so to call Your Lucky List a scam is a bit much. I am sure that no emails have been sold or rented to anyone outside of Your Lucky List, because to do so would be detrimental to the service itself.
Anyways, sorry to see that you were not happy with Your Lucky List or my newsletter, and wish you all the best.
Tracy

When you join you should read the terms of the sites =)
At YourLuckyList you allow them to send your email to your upline autoresponder… and also to his upline autoresponder…
but also your email is given to some of other members as bonus…
You also got some emails from otehr persons…
Is the way YourLuckyList work and next time you really should read what you join before saying its scam :)
I signed up as a free member of YLL a couple of weeks ago. I received the following email from “[email protected] , yesterday. I followed the links and realize that the one trying to get my PayPal account login information is not a PayPal site. Unfortunately, I picked up on this right after I hit the send key. I immediately went to Paypal and changed my login information. I have removed my email address for privacy reasons.

I checked out Secure Acres on
Then I get thinking. I try to remember how I found my way to Your Lucky List in the First Place. I then remember that it was on more than one of the free sites I have joined. I realize there has been a web of sites all linked together. They encourage me/you to join other programs and then enter our ID number or name which updates my/your affilliate link page, presumably so when others join they will join up under Me/us.
And when I looked up YLL on Alexa, I discover that its parent directory or url is called secureacres.com. Then I wonder if all of these linked sites come under secureacres.com and the whole thing is a fraud to get our paypal information.

I sent YLL a support ticket immediately with a copy of the email I received, marked URGENT, suggesting that they alert the membership. No response yet. That was yesterday.
I’m off to do some more sleuthing, but I am really looking for some feedback here. Am I crazy to wonder if this is all one big FRAUD STRATEGY?
I’m looking for feedback.
Thanks,
Rebecca Duncan
I am wo9ndering if some people did have success building a good sized list with this service.
