RPC Services to Ping
Elliott Back created a list of RPC and RPC2 services to ping, in addition to Ping-o-Matic. WordPress 2.0 (release candidate) is out, so I’ve verified that, by default, the list of services to ping still includes only Ping-o-Matic. This additional list, copied on Dec 28, 2005, should prove useful. These are all general-purpose; you can copy and paste the whole list, if you wish. I will add to (merge) this list as I find others.

hey so it seems strangely coincidential, but i googled if there was a new way to hack xanga’s ad banner and your site came up. i was in my cubicle when this happened, so my coworker jeff comes in to get me for lunch cuz a bunch of us usually go out to eat. then he sees your site and goes “what the freak, that’s my cousin’s site.” yup. jeff ligh. small world.
anyways we were going to play a prank just for fun like pretend im some stalker that knows about your childhood or something but jeff said you were pretty ‘resourceful’ so i opted the latter. anyways nice to ‘meet’ you.
you also mentioned in a previous post that you’re giving away one of your websites? i have no intention of making profit but i was thinking about developing a car site/indirect multiplayer flash game site. there’s a few ideas i’ve been playing around with in css with javascript and i’d like to see it to fruition. i was just going to create a freebie geocities thing but i saw your offer. is the space still available?
Ridiculous, huh? There better be some interesting articles in there, is all I can say.
