Mac. Touché

If Apple users tend to be more educated than the norm, I suspect that it’s because they’re self-absorbed fools who prefer style over substance.

I’m writing this in response to visiting Apple.com and seeing the front-page ad, “Touche”. The problem?

The PC does use the interjection touché correctly, both times. Correction — three times.
I can’t believe that Apple didn’t know this, especially when they’re so blatant about saying the PC is wrong. They must have researched it. So the only logical conclusion is that Apple made this mistake intentionally, and is revealing that Mac doesn’t know he’s either a bully or stupid.

This was so unbelievable that I watched the ad twice. Anyway, that’s all I’m going to say about that.

I noticed Apple and Google are buddies: “Google is your friend: search for “Mac OS X” and the name of your device.” Hmm.

I will tackle the practical and value aspects of the Mac or PC decision in a future post. Suffice to say, Apple survives primarily thanks to luck and marketing, not so much innovation nor superiority. Still, I admit liking the MacBook, and I will consider this as well.

You’re right. I’ll post about this, too. It’s funny because, the Wikipedia article on “touché” mentions the ad.
