Adventures in Parenting Updates
I made a number of updates to my mom’s parenting website, including:
- Fixed padding around images,
- Adding the MySpace image to the featured post’s excerpt,
- Removing dates from posts,
- Fixing the archive excerpts,
- Fixing the titles of the Archive pages,
- And fixing the Podcast Archive.
She also wrote about the importance of one person. These are really great insights, and I’m glad we’re able to put it in writing and share them with the world.
I’ve been doing a lot more reading over the break. I hope it’s not a bad habit: obviously, it’s possible to have too much of a good thing. Thus, I try to watch myself to ensure I don’t spend too much time reading.
Recently, I read Rush Limbaugh’s The Way Things Ought to Be. I’ve posted about it before: Argument Against Abortion.
I just finished The Prayer of Jabez and am currently reading Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson. I randomly received these books during the Genesis Christmas Party’s “Nasty Santa” gift exchange. Not very nasty if you ask me! :)
Other things I read today:
- The value of the dollar is dropping,
- “What one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?” – the “Davos” question,
- And International Climate Negotiations.
Thanks for your help, Elliot. I wouldn’t be able to speak to the world without you.
