Adobe PDF to become an Open Standard

Adobe submitted its Portable Document Format (PDF) to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to become an Open Standard. I wonder if we’ll see better free implementations of PDF. As of now, Adobe Acrobat is by far the best.

Unfold any folder

The user can unfold any folder and see its sub-folders (User Interface Design, Lauesen 88). Wow! I never thought of computer directories as being unfoldable folders. What a strange way to think of things. It relates something digital to the physical world.
