The only time I have seen US CS majors gain immediate value is when they go abroad. There are plenty of companies in China, India, HK, Canada, Australia that would love to get their hands on top CS majors from the US. (slashdot comment)
I went through six pairs of socks yesterday because it was raining. Every time I stepped outside, my socks got wet, and every time I was indoors with wet socks, I changed them. I need to get some proper rain shoes.
